The concept
These are women's pants, not men's pants. suitable for female size. The fly and button closure are redesigned to sit to the side and cross the leg. All that for:
1- No longer hurt and/or annoy the female genitalia (irritations, pressure points on the uterus, pain, etc.)
2- Enable women to urinate standing up quickly and cleanly, again, by separating the two legs of the pants in order to obtain a greater amplitude and to be able to spread the legs.
3- No more having to pull down your pants and discover your gluteal muscles (gluteus maximus)
Focus on the system

Advantages

Practicality
Too many queues in the toilets, or they are not accessible? Historical monuments, highway areas, festivals, bars, airports, museums, hiking, ski resorts, etc. No problem, the solution is found. This zippered Pantalelle allows women to spread their legs and pee standing up quickly and without uncovering their posterior!

Health aspect
The fly buttons constantly press on the uterus and the zipper causes pressure on the female urinary tract, in addition to not being anatomically correct at all. Men's pants also require sitting down and undressing on toilet bowls that are usually very dirty in busy public restrooms. The ability to use urinals offers a hygiene advantage, as there is no longer a requirement for contact with the toilet.

Ecological aspect
This Pantalelle makes current urinals usable by women as well: a conventional toilet flush consumes an average of 9L (3 to 6L for "economical" flushes), compared to 1.5L for a urinal! Urinals use 4 times less water than conventional toilets when flushed. We can reduce our water consumption by 4 to 6 times!

The Lépine contest
Clara Carricajo, aerospace engineer, presented the « Pantalelle » at the Lépine 2021 competition during the Autumn Fair in Paris.
"It was an incredible experience to arrive at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center in Paris, after a 7.5 hour drive from Lyon where I am originally from, to set up the Pantalelle* stand. What a joy to discover my name among the exhibitors of the Lépine Contest! I was lucky enough to be lent the magnificent red and pink urinal with kindness and benevolence by the designer, manufacturer and multi-brand distributor of bathroom products Sopha Industries (www.sopha.fr). This urinal was a precious help! It helped draw in the curious and galvanize the crowds. Assembling the women's pants prototypes was difficult, but with sewing and pattern making classes, I was able to make my idea possible. Hooray! And this is just the beginning! The rest of the adventures are coming soon!
At the Concours Lépine, the Pantalelle* was awarded the AIFF Prize (Association des Inventeurs et Fabricants Français), which recognizes the interest in industrializing the Pantalelle.

FAQ
How do we do with the panties?
To answer this question, three possibilities are adopted:
:
a.Pull the panties to the side
b.Put on snap-on panties
c.Wear bikini briefs (with knots on the sides, made of cotton, available in all lingerie stores, and invented in 1946 by the French car engineer Louis Réard)
Will we have to go into the boys' toilets?
For the time being yes, in the long run no. The aim is to regulate the queue in the women's toilets, which are completely saturated. The problem is that we can't add more closed cabins because the spaces are already optimized to accommodate the maximum number of closed toilets possible. Moreover, the ecological and economic cost is too high to add more closed toilets in the buildings (water and electricity consumption much higher than urinals).
There is only one solution: add urinals in women's homes as well.

How do we pee standing up?
By learning and practicing. It's normal to feel uncomfortable the first time you do something new, like a recipe, you have to get started. "The first time you make a new recipe, it's always a little messy. But by practicing and adding a pinch of salt, a little more of an ingredient, etc., you get the hang of it. You master the dish and everything comes together." Men learn to pee standing up as early as age 4 in preschool and much earlier at home. It is normal that they feel more comfortable.
In France, 15min are allocated per day to teach boys in the second year of kindergarten to urinate standing up and use urinals in public school.
